Question from a Customer: Which is better, Jeffrey Stephens Weekend Hypnosis Workshop, or Igor Ledochowski’s Power of Conversational Hypnosis?

Liked your program. In fact it has me very interested in going forward. I have run across a couple of other programs and was wondering of the two I am looking at which you would recommend. Maybe, I am missing the boat and there is something better. the first is Jeffery Stephens at http://www.effectivehypnosis.com/mentor and the other is Igor Ledochowski at http://effectivehypnosis.com/poch both are at the top of my price limit. My goal is to learn street hypnosis and maybe be able to do some parties and events where I can make some money and have fun doing it. A point in the right direction would be greasily appreciated.

Since I’ve received many emails like that, I thought I’d publish an answer here for you all to benefit from.

First, let me say you could not have made better selections – you’ve clearly done your homework! I know both Jeff and Igor well, have interviewed them both several times, and can confidently declare that they are at the very tip top of the hypnosis profession. If you are serious about getting to a level of mastery with any form or style of hypnosis, overlooking either of these trainers would be shooting yourself in the foot.

It’s also interesting that both Jeff and Igor have very different approaches and styles.

Jeffrey Stephens, as I described him in our very first interview – before I introduced him to Igor and he became the world renown trainer we know him as today – is one of the best direct hypnotists in the world.

Simple, straight forward and absolutely no B.S, Jeff’s approach is ideal for all Street Hypnotists.  Jeff was actually out there doing street hypnosis long before the phrase was coined (funnily enough, it was Igor who actually coined the expression, but that’s another story).

Jeff would walk into a local music or video game shop, ask any stranger to volunteer, and with no pre-talk or hesitation, instantly zap him or her with an instant induction. 5 minutes later a massive crowd would be watching the subject experiences profound hypnotic phenomena, from hallucinating that the video game was real, to being unable to move from the spot, and much more besides!

By practicing in the real world, Jeff honed his approach to make it simple and easy to learn. I get reports by the dozens of previously shy people who took his online course, and were hypnotizing strangers within the hour.

As a clinical hypnotist (full time), Jeff also pioneered what he calls ’15 minute therapy’. Hang the 30 minute progressive relaxation inductions, if you walk into to see Jeff with a problem, you’ll leave your problem behind in 15 minutes or less!

Jeff unveils his full 10 step process for creating rapid, lasting change on his DVD program – it’s simple and easy, so you’ll be able to grasp, use and apply it successfully right from the get go.

Ok, so that’s Jeff, now what about Igor?

Igor Ledochowski’s “Power of Conversational Hypnosis” is probably the most classic of all hypnosis courses. It practically invented the covert and conversational hypnosis phenomena we read about online everyday, and continues to be the single top selling hypnosis training program of all time.

It’s also a distinct contrast to Jeff’s video program. From Jeff you’ll get rapid, direct and to the point. From Igor you’ll gain the subtle tools, tricks and techniques the masters use to create rapid transformations inside of ordinary conversations, and achieve success with even the most difficult and challenging of prospects.

Despite my many years in the field, I still refer back to Igor’s original master piece when I need a refresher of the basics. It is without a doubt the definitive work on conversational hypnosis and persuasion secrets, and the most comprehensive model for taking NLP and Ericksonian concepts and patterns, and applying them practically in the real world.

While Jeff’s course is more explicitly about Street Hypnosis, and will give you the inductions, suggestion routines and techniques you need to pull that off, you’ll also find Igor’s program extremely useful if you want to master street hypnosis.

Using the techniques and concepts you gain from The Power of Conversational Hypnosis, you’ll pretty much never have to deal with a “no” again. Any doubt, resistance of skepticism can be swept aside with ease, and if what you do seems to ‘fail’ you’ll be able to artfully and elegantly flip the situation into a dazzling success, without anyone (except you) being any the wiser.

Go through every CD of Igor’s program, read the cheat sheets, and do the exercises, and you will leave with the skill, confidence and abilities of a master hypnotist and irresistible persuader.

Naturally if you can afford it, definitely take both courses. In the long run, you’d be crazy to miss out on either. Right now, just ask yourself one question, what is it you want more, this second, to master instant street hypnosis, or to become irresistible persuasive?
