>How To Easily Hypnotize Anyone Using Dynamic Mental Imagery

>

The Dynamic Mental Imagery hypnotic technique is one of the most powerful hypnotic tools around. It’s an interactive process which allows you to really get inside the minds of the people you are hypnotizing and create wonderful and dramatic changes within them that will stick for the rest of their lives.

It is an immensely easy process and is ideal for people just starting out with hypnosis, simply because as the hypnotist you need to do very little, things just happen!

With this process you take your subjects through an imagined journey to a place of their choosing, and interact with various unconscious symbols and messages along the way. This process allows your subjects to metaphorically solve a problem and change and reframe experiences in their mind. It is a wonderful and incredibly powerful therapeutic tool. Changes just seem to occur automatically as a result of it.

It is also an incredible experience for both the hypnotist and the hypnotic subject. It is fun, enjoyable and very simple and will soon become one of your favorite hypnotic processes.

The trouble is, when you are trying to describe this technique in writing you miss the real magic of it. So to fix this I asked a friend and fellow hypnotist Leo Gopala from http://incrediblemind.wordpress.com if he wouldn’t mind experiencing a particular hypnotic technique over skype, and being recorded doing so.

So here you have an example of the complete dynamic mental imagery hypnotic process, enjoy!

Dynamic Mental Imagery

So here’s quick summary of what happened:

  1. Create a doorway, leading to a scene from their unconscious
  2. Have them step through the door, into the scene, and describe it to you
  3. Have them eventually move into a different experience (if nothing is happening you may want to suggest this ‘in a moment you are going to find a path or gateway, that will lead you into a new and deeper experience’
  4. Have them explore the new experience, and interact with various symbols along the way (in this case the office, the clients, the awards etc)
  5. When they feel they have done all they need to bring them back into ‘reality’

It is useful to recap and rerun what has happened so far at various stages so that it further cements the unconscious changes, and also to feedback their personal trance words (words or phrases which have particular importance to them, in this case ‘wonderfully important’)

This technique is so simple that you already know all you need to get out there and start using it. When you practice it more and gain more skill and confidence you’ll be able to slip in more suggestions and overall make the entire process so much more effective and powerful, so enjoy practicing this technique and noticing how much easier and more fun it becomes each and every time you use it.

Best of luck

PS as I mentioned on the recording, I learned this technique from one of my chief mentors and teachers in hypnosis, Igor Ledochowski. He covers this technique very thoroughly on his Secrets Of Hypnosis Revealed program, which you can find here: http://effectivehypnosis.com/recommends/secretshypno.htm
